LetMC was set up in 2004 by Glyn Trott and Wyn Griffiths directors of Pinnacle and were joined later by Ieun Williams of Eira Software. The company subsequently moved to CBTC in January 2005 and evolved to provide back office services for letting agents across the UK. The services initially included bank reconciliation, printing, packing and posting paperwork, processing maintenance invoices and answering accounts queries on behalf of clients.

The company has further developed, supported by software, into a software company in its own right serving over 100 clients, the most prominent being Halifax Estate Agents with a 330 branch network. Halifax is rolling out the software to its network over the next few years, which means that LetMC will treble in size with this contract alone. Sales have been consistent over the last few years allowing the company to grow organically to a staff of 14 full-time and 3 part-time. LetMC is currently enhancing the marketing element of the software to appeal to estate agents and has recently developed a 'bridge' with an online estate agency package based in Swansea. This system enables the transfer of data avoiding the issue of duplication. In addition, the company is focusing once again on providing additional services such as tenant referencing for their clients and many other cross selling opportunities.

LetMC received assistance as part of the business development credit toward the fees and other costs incurred in piloting a marketing strategy.
