The fire simulator which try used is totally environmentally friendly, run entirely on Calor Gas which leaves no mess, but provided the benefits of using all the extinguishers to gain confidence to put out all the different classes of fires.
Certificate of theory and practical use of fire extinguishers were sent to all participants .

LexAble, an assistive software company based in Cardiff, is this year’s winner of the Technology4Goof Accessibility Award. The award, which is sponsored by Microsoft and AbilityNet, was presented to the company by Mariella Frostrup, in recognition of their achievements in the filed of dyslexia support. LexAble, founded by Cardiff University graduate Neil Cottrell, is the creator of Global AutoCorrect, a unique tool that enables people with dyslexia and literacy issues to focus on the process of writing without worrying about their spelling. Neil, 24, who himself is severely dyslexic, initially created the software as a personal coping strategy, before releasing it to the public in 2009. Since then the software has benefited thousands of individuals in schools, university and the workplace, both in the UK and around the world.
The Technology4Good Awards, which are organised by disability charity AbilityNet and sponsored by BT were founded in 2011 in order to recognise individuals and organisations whose work enables others to improce their lives through the use of IT. Now in their second year, the awards have attracted additional sponsors from within and outside the IT industry, including BT, Microsoft, Go ON UK and Camelot.
